This acid-based formulation brightens concrete, tile, and grout with mild acid etching. Even tile and grout that has become discolored over time can be cleaned and brightened in no time.
It effectively removes mineral deposits, hard water scale, efflorescence, mildew, and rust stains from hard surfaces and brightens them for that like-new look that will have your customers saying, “Wow!”
This low-pH, low-odor, and low-foaming cleaner is great for use on pools, tubs, and shower enclosures – anywhere hard surfaces need thorough cleaning and brightening.
Unlike other products that have strong odors, Unitex Surface Renew Grout Brightener has a fresh fragrance your customers will love. Plus, it uses surfactant technology that is fully and rapidly biodegradable.
Usage
Directions for use:
Mix 32 to 64 ounces of concentrate with enough water to make on gallon of ready to use solution.
Preinspect all surfaces for evidence of pre-existing damage and for stains and soiling that will not be possible to remove. Check for and remove any coatings. Coatings will interfere with proper cleaning.
Work process:
- Post wet floor signs. Protect areas not being cleaned from overspray.
- Use a pressure sprayer to apply RTU solution to the surface. Use a coarse spray and do not generate aerosol. Allow a 5 to 10 minute dwell time but do not allow solution to dry on the surface.
- For floors, use a rotary buffer with a nylon grit brush to agitate surface. For counter tops and vertical surfaces, use a hand brush to agitate the surface.
- Use high pressure water at as high a temperature as possible to pressure wash the surface. Be sure to vacuum up all waste water. Inspect the surface for standing water and remove.
- If soil removal or degreasing is required, use Unitex Surface Renew Tile and Grout Cleaner. Follow the label direction for this product.
- Establish good drying conditions.
