The purple Powerhouse handles everything from heavy soil to tough stripping jobs. This formula eradicates rust, oil, and grease, yet contains no damaging solvents.
Recommended for use on concrete floors, machinery, tools, greasy machine parts, enamel-coated metal wall sheeting, flumes, ventilators, stoves, ovens, wood, and synthetic duckboards, Powerhouse can also be used to strip acrylic water emulsion floor sealers.
Its active ingredients include heavy-duty detergents, cleaning and degreasing agents, a sequestrant, hydrotope, and water-soluble solvent, yet it contains no phosphorous.
Since Powerhouse leaves no residual film, forget excessive or repeated rinsing! Variable rate dilutions cover plenty of hard-to-handle cleaning and degreasing challenges—even on problem surfaces.
NOTE: Do not use Powerhouse for routine maintenance on resilient flooring like asphalt, linoleum, vinyl, vinyl asbestos, rubber, and other floors in this category as it may compromise floor finish. For approved surfaces, apply by mop, sponge, sprayer or scrubber. Depending upon the nature of the surface, manual or machine scrubbing may be effective.
Usage
Grease Removal from Hard Surfaces:
This technical tip tells how to handle the removal of grease, carbon build-up, and factory grime off surfaces that are not harmed by water. This includes cabinets, furniture, appliances, walls, and flooring. Do not use these procedures on glass! If these products dry on glass, a residue will be created that may not be removable.
Recommended Basic Method:
- Dilute Unitex Powerhouse Degreaser at 4-13 oz per gallon of water into a sprayer or a mop wringer and bucket set.
- Spray or mop onto affected areas. If sprayed on use a cloth rag or sponge to wipe.
- Rinse with water.
