Product Information
A bypass solenoid works to control temperature by dumping small amounts of water into the recovery tank. The solenoid is controlled by the machine thermostat and temperature sensor working in conjunction, it opens when physical temperature of the water goes over what the thermostat is set to. The solenoid then stays open until the temperature has dropped to the thermostat temperature. It will bypass enough water to make a difference in temperature but not so much that the pressure is negatively affected, generally around 50-100PSI.
