Skilled users know the challenges of floor grinding is to create excellent results. A major risk factor when grinding and polishing to high specifications of hard materials like hard concrete, terrazzo, and stone materials is glazing. Glazing or overheating can result in damaged tools, which can cause poor cutting rates and shorter tool lifetime. The raised temperature is caused both by friction and the concentrations of dust under the grinding cover which accumulates the heat and raises the temperature. It generally takes a lot of operator skill to adjust the machine and to balance performance and risk of overheating.

The HTC AirFlow™ EZ tool holders create an increased and controlled flow of air around the tools. The increased airflow cools the tool effectively and at the same time directs the airborne dust toward the evacuation intake.

Tool holder AirFlow™ EZ 230 is made in cast aluminum. The 230 mm version fits HTC 650 HDX/RX, DURATIQ 5 and, HTC DURATIQ 6.

Tool holder AirFlow™ EZ 270 is made in cast aluminum. The 270 mm version fits HTC 800 HDX/RX, HTC DURATIQ 8, and HTC 950 RX.
