The RDM-3 penetrating moisture meter from Delmhorst is designed for use by dry kiln operators, mill personnel, quality control inspectors, lumber buyers, and other professionals who routinely inspect wood.

The RDM-3 identifies both surface and core moisture, providing the fast and accurate measurements that professionals can rely on. It offers a 5–60% wood scale (0.1% MC resolution) and corrects for 69 different species of wood.

The built-in pins on the top of the meter can measure moisture up to a depth of 1/2". For deeper measurements, attach the 26-ES electrode, which is included in the kit.

Like most Delmhorst meters, the RDM-3 can be programmed to emit an audible alarm to alert you when your pre-selected moisture content level has been reached. An auto shut-off timer helps to save battery life.

The RDM-3 features an easy-to-use 5-button interface that allows users to scroll through the menu and selection options using just one hand. Readings are shown on a bright, clear digital display.

Onscreen recall allows you to store up to 1,400 readings with date and time stamp, allowing you to organize readings by job for easy reference. Optional software is available so you can download readings to your computer to generate detailed Excel reports.
