Chemical residue in fibers can automatically set new blood stains if the surface pH is under 7.0, so choose the specialty product developed expressly for professional removal of blood stains from carpet and upholstery fabric to tackle these challenges. Use it only on fabrics that will not be damaged by water!
Blood Eraser delivers terrific results in most circumstances, but if the spot has been been exposed to pH cleaners or spotters, it may not produce the results you seek, so always advise customers of this fact.
Usage
Blood Removal from Carpet:
Blood is either caused by spillage or trauma and can be from either a human or an animal. Cleaners must adhere to OSHA's blood-borne pathogen rule. Cleaners must wear gloves, goggles, and an apron. All recovery must be discarded as hazardous waste. Recovery tanks need to be cleaned with a bleach solution. OSHA's concern is AIDS or hepatitis.
Recommended Basic Method:
- Apply Chemeister Blood Eraser undiluted. Agitate with a bone spatula working from the outside of the spot to the center. Tamp and blot with spotting brush and spotting towel.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water using an extractor.
