This digital, non-invasive moisture meter is calibrated to deliver accurate moisture measurements on most building materials. It delivers a wide range of readings for wood (5% to 30%) and 0 to 100 comparative for all other materials.

The Tramex MRH III delivers deep signal penetration to over 1" into the material being tested without the need to damage the surface.* Its external rubber electrodes made direct contact with the material being tested for the best sensitivity and repeatability. An optional plug-in wood probe can be used with the unit when deeper readings are required.

An optional plug-in Tramex Hygro-i ® relative humidity probe can also be used with the unit to rest for relative humidity, temperature, dew point, and mixing ratio.

You won't need to get out your flashlight or squint to read the screen. Readings are easy to read and displayed on a large, backlit LCD display. 

A convenient "hold" function allows the user to freeze the reading, which comes in handy when taking measurements where the meter face is not easily visible.

This meter also features a switchable on/off audio warning tone to alert the user when certain thresholds are reached.

This battery-operated unit comes with a battery and features an automatic power cutoff function to preserve battery life when the meter is not in use.
