SurfaceShield is an encapsulating adhesive coating contains an EPA-registered antimicrobial agent (copper 8 quinolinolate). It protects the dried film from microbial attack and helps to improve indoor air quality.
SurfaceShield also loose dust and soil, preventing it from becoming airborne. Plus, it protects treated surfaces against abrasion and forms a barrier against microbial-laden dust.
When used as part of a water damage restoration or microbial remediation regimen, the dried SurfaceShield coating is a protective dressing for water- or microbial-damaged building materials.
SurfaceShield can be applied to a wide variety of porous and non-porous building materials, including wood, paper, gypsum board, plastic, metal, glass, and fiberglass.
It is recommended for use in elevator shafts, crawlspaces, return air plenums, HVAC system components and ductwork, new construction, microbial remediation, and water damage restoration.
