Hard and highly abrasion resistant, aluminum oxide is a great choice for use in commercial or industrial environments. Aluminum oxide particles provide superior slip-resistance to promote a safer indoor work environment, which is critical in places such as slaughterhouses or meat-processing plants.

The tougher particles are not easily eroded by frequent and intense traffic from carts, forklifts, machinery, and other heavy equipment.

Incorporates Easily into Epoxy Materials

Aluminum oxide aggregate is very hard, even when locked in with an epoxy resin. It still provides an angular profile that delivers positive traction. This bleached aluminum oxide resembles clear/white table salt and blends easily into any colored epoxy coating, ensuring it won’t alter the overall look/aesthetics of the floor.

Aluminum oxide should be broadcast at a rate of 5–7 lbs per 1,000 square feet.

Multiple Grit Levels Available

This product is available in 12, 24, 36, 60, or 90 grit levels depending on the level of slip-resistance required. Larger grits provide a rougher feel and higher traction levels.
