Create beautiful, long-lasting dyed concrete floors with Ameripolish SureLock Dyes!
Ameripolish SureLock Dyes are concentrated formulas infused with UV inhibitors and penetrating agents that produce rich, deep colors on diamond-polished concrete.
SureLock Dyes are designed to penetrate deeply into the surface layer. The unique formula is reactive with concrete, forming a bond that locks color into slab, minimizing color migration or diffusion.
Ameripolish SureLock Dyes conveniently mix with acetone or water. SureLock dyes can also be combined with densifiers or used alone to achieve beautiful, long-lasting results on even the hardest, most dense concrete surfaces.
When mixed with 3D HS or HSL, SureLock concrete dyes penetrate and chemically bond to the concrete for a deep, rich, consistent color that won't fade or wear out over time. These dyes are infused with UV stabilizers and penetrating agents that go one step further to produce deep, rich, durable colored surfaces.
Ameripolish SureLock Dyes are sold in easy-to-use pre-dissolved liquid concentrate. Unlike other products that have you waiting around up to 3 hours for dye to fully dissolve, SureLock's liquid form dissolves fast to minimize your downtime.
Ameripolish SureLock dyes are a concentrated liquid dispersion of nano-sized colorant particles. These dyes are designed to be diluted by the user with acetone or water, in a ratio of 1:16.
See product label and technical data sheet for full use instructions.
DILUTION AND COVERAGE
SureLock dye concentrate can be diluted with acetone or water.
Coverage varies depending on concrete mixture, porosity, and moisture content and on ambient conditions. Use test areas to determine appropriate application rate. As a starting point to determine coverage: 400 sf / gal (9.8 m2 / L).
APPLICATION
Testing: Prior to starting project, apply SureLock dye to sample area of each type of concrete to be treated, using applications procedures proposed for project. Confirm that concrete is receptive to dye or dye/densifier combination and that color is acceptable.
Project Conditions: Ambient temperature during application should be 40–100°F (4–38°C).
Equipment: Spray apply SureLock using low-pressure sprayer with Patriot Gray #8 or similar conical mist tip with 8.4 gal/hr flow at 40 PSI. (31.8 L /hr at 275.8 kPa), microfiber pad or similar microfiber floor finish applicator pad.
