Remediation Technician course is a prerequisite.
This two-day course teaches supervisors how to choose the mold remediation techniques, equipment and chemicals that will best suit each job. The heaviest emphasis is on risk assessment, containment and decontamination options, communication with technicians and clients and industry standards of care.
Class includes information on:
Health effects related to fungal exposure
Standards and guidelines
Risk assessment in fungal contamination projects
Isolation/containment of remediation activities
Post-remediation activities
Project management skills
Liability and insurance considerations
Certification test given
