The Protimeter HygroMaster 2 measures relative humidity, temperature, grains per pound (GPP), dew point, enthalpy, and vapor pressure. Readings are clearly displayed on a brightly lit color LCD screen.

The HygroMaster 2 has an intuitive, user-friendly interface with a convenient thumb pad, so you can easily navigate menus and take readings with the gentle press of a thumb.

While you can use the device in standard hygrometer or psychometric mode, users also have the option of setting a custom view where you can select up to four specific parameters to show on your screen, such as dew point, relative humidity, GPP, and vapor pressure. This custom view feature allows you to see your most important data points at a glance, instead of flipping back and forth between different menus.

The HygroMaster 2 features auto shut-off capability to preserve battery life. Upon restart, the meter automatically returns to the last screen selected.

A built-in non-contact surface IR temperature probe allows you to quickly and easily take surface temperature readings. The Protimeter HygroMaster 2 also displays surface temperature differential readings, so you can know the surface’s proximity to dew point. An audible buzzer will sound alerting the contractor that condensation is occurring, a handy feature on any water damage restoration job.

The unit uses replaceable humidity and temperature sensors. It is also compatible with plug-in temperature probes.

The HygroMaster 2 offers data logging ability—up to 8,000 results with date and time stamps—so you can record important data points for reporting and documentation purposes. You can graph readings using software from Protimeter, or download readings in a handy Microsoft Excel document.
