How to Remove Banana from Carpet

Banana on carpet is generally caused by a banana being dropped and then ground into the carpet. Banana, like most fruits, contains a lot of natural sugars.


Basic Method

  1. Remove excess banana with a bone spatula.
  2. Apply Matrix Spot Out undiluted. Tamp and blot with bone spatula and spotting towel.
  3. Apply Matrix Target Tannin Stain Remover undiluted. Tamp and blot with spotting brush and spotting towel.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with water.
