Accounting & Finance
Our accounting and finance group focuses on financial accounting and reporting as tools to aid decision making and financial analysis at Jon-Don. The accounting and finance department is responsible for financial statement reporting and analysis as well as accounts payable and receivable functions. This department also oversees employee benefits administration and commercial insurance. We hire detail-oriented and analytical individuals with a solid work ethic and a strong accounting and cash management background.
Equipment Service & Repair
The Equipment Service and Repair Department at Jon-Don handles troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and general repair work on commercial cleaning equipment ranging from portable to vehicle-mounted extractors, and from electric to gas and diesel-powered units. Jon-Don’s Equipment Service and Repair Technicians are service providers for a diverse market segment, which includes, but is not limited to, Sanitary Maintenance, Professional Carpet Cleaning, Disaster Restoration, Abatement, and Concrete Services.
Jon-Don’s service model differentiates our company from our competitors in the markets we serve. We have a knowledgeable and dynamic team that repairs the complete spectrum of commercial cleaning equipment in the industry. This department provides quality repairs with quick turnaround times and is responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with our customers and keeping up-to-date service records on equipment. We hire responsible, detail-oriented individuals who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy problem solving.
Information Technology
Our IT department provides critical support for all aspects of our business operations. This group analyzes the functions and processes of our company and applies technology to make them more efficient. Our team utilizes a wide variety of development tools appropriate for their projects. We develop various distributed, web-based, and desktop applications suited to our operational needs. This department also provides desktop, server, and end-user support. We hire individuals with excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
Marketing
The Marketing Department at Jon-Don develops advertising campaigns and designs marketing materials that focus on strengthening Jon-Don’s brand and solidifying our place of leadership in the marketplace. Our programs are designed to grow Jon-Don’s sales by marketing to customers based on solutions to their problems, with products and services that complement their unique needs and purchase behavior.
We use numerous marketing vehicles to promote products and support the sales process including email campaigns, the Jon-Don website, videos, eye-catching point-of-purchase displays, and print media such as catalogs, flyers, direct mail, brochures, and trade magazine advertisements.
The marketing team is faced with exciting, daily challenges. Our copywriters translate technical information into easy-to-understand and compelling sales copy that is used in our print and internet marketing. Our graphic designers find inventive ways to display our products and marketing messages. Jon-Don's marketing team uses the Adobe Creative Suite® as well as other software suitable for their projects. We hire creative, detail-oriented individuals who thrive on multi-tasking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Purchasing
Purchasing professionals make up a key component of Jon-Don’s supply chain. Purchasing professionals consider price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support when choosing suppliers and merchandise in order to get the best deal for the company. In order to accomplish these tasks successfully, our purchasing professionals study sales records and inventory levels of current stock, identify suppliers, and keep abreast of changes affecting both the supply of and demand for needed products and materials. We hire individuals with excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to negotiate with vendors and manage relationships.
Sales
Our Sales Team is focused on providing solutions to our customers’ problems. Our team of sales professionals takes the time to get to know our customers, understand their business and unique needs, and then recommends products and processes that improve their business. In addition, our sales team provides in-the-field troubleshooting advice; product and technical information after disasters such as fires and floods; and marketing and sales advice.
Sales representatives participate in a thorough training and education program designed to teach them about Jon-Don’s products and provide successful selling tools. We are looking for energetic, career-minded individuals with strong communication skills and an excellent ability to build relationships.
Our sales team is divided into three branches: Customer Service, Regional Sales, and Specialty Sales.
- Customer Service
When customers reach out to Jon-Don, our friendly Customer Service Team is there to answer the phone or greet customers in our retail facilities. Customer service representatives take orders, answer questions, and direct customers to specialists when needed. Individuals who excel in our Customer Service Team have the opportunity for professional growth and advancement to the Regional Sales Team. - Regional Sales
Regional sales representatives manage a territory and are responsible for growing and developing their accounts through on-site sales calls and/or phone contact with customers. Our sales reps are equipped with outstanding sales and prospecting tools and receive support from our full-time marketing staff and customer service department. We employ individuals with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a drive to achieve goals and take ownership of their success. - Regional Sales Managers
Regional sales managers are active salespeople that are also responsible for developing sales strategies for their territory, executing programs that are necessary to achieve sales and profit goals, and overseeing the development of their regional staff. The regional manager works closely with our senior management team. We hire bright, energetic individuals with a positive attitude that have proven success in sales and management experience. - Specialty Sales
Specialty sales representatives specialize in a particular business category such as Restoration and Disaster Recovery, Janitorial and Building Service, Parts and Service, Specialty Concrete Flooring, or Truck Mounts. These representatives develop sales within a territory as well as provide technical support and on-the-job advice for customers who require additional assistance. We employ driven salespeople with industry experience and proven sales success.
