The National 6280HD Gladiator is a heavy-duty, self-propelled walk-behind scraper that plows through both soft and hard goods effectively and efficiently. Carpet, glues, mastic, VCT, VAT, ceramics, hardwoods, motor mixes, and mud baths are no match for the 6280HD.
The 6280HD delivers up to 78 pounds of front weight down pressure. This works in conjunction with the adjustable, counter-balanced, slide-weight system to apply additional pressure to the scraper head as desired. The head torque of the machine can be easily adjusted to match job site conditions thanks to the easy-access variable speed control.
Hydraulically driven in both forward and reverse, the 6280HD is designed for both maximum productivity and maximum operator comfort. It features 360-degree ergonomically designed hand grips, to ensure your hands stay comfortable. A little pressure is all you need to move the 6280HD in forward or reverse; the more pressure you apply, the faster you'll go!
The swivel head attachment of the 6280HD provides 100% consistent surface contact, regardless of the material being removed. This not only ensures efficient operation, but also promotes blade longevity.
The industrial motor is equipped with a thermal-overload protection circuit breaker cord to eliminate unnecessary strain and motor over-excursion.
The 6280HD is ideal for use in confined spaces, such as bathrooms, freezers, and electrical utility rooms.
It features a 6-position adjustable handle, ensuring the operator can use the machine comfortably or adjust the handle on the fly in tight spaces.
The adjustable handle can also be collapsed toward the front of the scraper to save space during transport or storage. The self-cleaning industrial-grade traction wheels also disengage for loading and unloading.
