FLIR Point and Shoot Thermal Cameras
FLIR thermal imaging cameras are specifically designed for building inspections such as missing insulation, HVAC heating and cooling issues, moisture detection, electrical problems, plumbing problems, termite and pest infestation, and much more. All FLIR cameras are exceptionally small and lightweight, so they can be carried virtually anywhere.
FLIR thermal imaging cameras are engineered with “Picture-in-Picture Fusion” technology. This combination of a digital camera with an infrared detector allows the user to superimpose an infrared section over a digital image of an area being inspected. This simplifies the inspection process and makes it easy to reference images later.
The Laser Pointer and Laser Locator features of FLIR’s thermal imaging cameras make identifying hot or cold spots as easy as pushing a button. The Laser Pointer pinpoints the hot spot on an IR image of the real physical target. The Laser Locator associates hot or cold spot in the IR image of the physical target in the field which ensures that the exact area is being evaluated.
FLIR cameras have built-in LED lights. So no matter what the lighting levels are like in the area you are inspecting (such as crawlspaces, basements, closets, or areas without electricity), you will always get the quality and visibility necessary to successfully complete a thorough inspection.
Built-in insulation and dew point alarms highlight areas where insulation may be missing or in which excess moisture may be present. These handy alarms make detecting potential problem areas a cinch.
