The Square Scrub works by pulverizing the finish on the surface of the floor, reducing it to a fine, dry powder. This powder remains on the floor and does not become airborne. It is easily removed by vacuuming and wet mopping, or by using an auto scrubber. Floors are left smooth, even, and ready for the application of a new layer of finish.

Since the finish or “wax” that is in the pores and cracks is not removed, you save about two coats of wax that normally is required to replace and reseal the tile. This makes the first coat of finish look more like the third!

Because of the square design, the Square Scrub cleans along edges and gets into corners the way round machines can’t. It cleans in straight lines, and you can even safely edge next to carpeting without any risk of damage. It even gets the black marks off the floor without leaving the “heel marks” that are normally associated with rotary machines.

Since you don’t have to use any chemical strippers on the floor, there is no risk of exposure to chemical fumes. The floor does not become slippery, thus reducing the risk of slip and fall accidents, too.
