Jon-Don announces the acquisition of two new locations in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon. The Seattle and Portland facilities—Jon-Don’s first in the West Coast—are the eighth and ninth locations to be added in the company’s history.

“After we opened our Florida location last summer, we set our sights on the West Coast,” said Jim Paolella, National Operations Manager, whose mission to expand the brand has been a priority. “So when the opportunity to acquire McDowell Supply, Inc.—a successful firm already established—came up, the timing was perfect. We expect the transition to be smooth and fast so we can serve our West Coast customers immediately.”

“The addition of these two new locations will greatly improve our ability to serve existing customers in that area of the country and we anticipate new customers as soon as contractors and service technicians discover our competitive prices, service menu, products, equipment offerings and customer service,” said Dave Howard, Jon-Don’s Sales and Marketing Director. “We’re excited about the dramatically improved one and two-day shipping capabilities and an expansion of our robust educational programs in the West.”

McDowell Supply was launched in 1958 and purchased by HydraMaster in 1999. McDowell’s values are very similar to those at Jon-Don. Jon-Don’s new Seattle facility, located at 4111 Airport Way South, will be managed by Tim Wessels. A grand opening is scheduled to take place on April 27th. Situated at 480 SE Market Street, the Portland store will be managed by Jerry Byrne. A grand opening is planned for April 28th.
