Guard Against Spots and Stains with 3M Scotchgard!
Economical and Highly Effective
Scotchgard offers classic 1:4 dilution strength and covers 200 sq ft per diluted gallon. The bottle hooks right to your PowerForce, Hydro-Force, or other equipment, making Scotchgard incredibly easy to apply.

What could you do with an extra $39,000 a year?
3M Scotchgard is an easy add-on sale that can quickly deliver big profits to your bottom line. In fact, one technician can earn up to $300 an hour or even $39,000 over the course of a year – just on Scotchgard sales alone! And the best part is you don't have to work any harder.
Here’s how it works:
The average job will take you just 15 minutes to apply Scotchgard on 500 square feet of carpet. If you only charge 15 cents/square foot, that's an extra $75 in your pocket on one job alone.
500 sq ft x 15 cents = $75.00
If you apply Scotchgard on just 4 average jobs a week, you just made an extra $300 for 1 hour of work.
$75/job x 4 jobs = $300
15 minutes of work/job x 4 jobs = 1 hour
So how does an extra $39,000 a year sound? Apply protector on just two average jobs a day and work just 5 days a week.
$75 per job x 2 jobs x 5 days a week x 52 weeks a year = $39,000

Applying 3M Scotchgard™ Protector to Carpet and Upholstery
Scotchgard™ protector helps protect carpet against oil and water-based stains. When spills and accidents do occur, the customer has more time to get the spot up before it stains the carpet. Scotchgard™ also has the ability to release stains more easily on carpet and upholstery. When applying Scotchgard™ to upholstery, be sure it is wet cleanable fabric. Do not apply to dry-clean-only fabrics. Check the upholstery tag for cleaning instructions.
Use only a dedicated sprayer for Scotchgard™. Do not mix with other chemicals. Clean up any over spray while it is wet as it can be difficult to remove once it dries.
Scotchgard™ protection will last approximately 1 year in residential homes and approximately 3 months commercially.
- Make sure carpet is clean.
- Using an electric, pump-up, or inline sprayer with an 8004 spray tip for carpet, or a 5001 spray tip for upholstery, apply diluted Scotchgard™ evenly to fibers.
- Rake the Scotchgard™ into the carpet with a Grandi-Groom or use a soft brush to brush it into the upholstery.
- Use air movers to assist in speed drying carpet or upholstery.
